Experimental study of the effect of shot peening parameters on the surface texture - Influence on the adhesion of a paint coating

The investigation presented in this paper focuses on the effect of surface texture adhesion a paint coating as well influence shot peening regime parameters isotropy indicator "Str" and fractal dimension "Df". tests have been organized according to full factorial designs 23, where three examined, at their two levels (min, max), namely pressure (P), angle attack (0) time (t). 3D roughness measurements carried out characterize different surfaces after operation. A mathematical model linking input (P, 0, t) output parameter "Str", study area has established, (Df) used for characterization. Paint deposit applied out. results show significant impact interaction between studied area. Furthermore, greatest bond strength obtained with sample 3 (F=4.25 N / mm2), whose is equal 0.6438 Df=is about 1.768.
